Parent Responsibilities
Communication
Strong family partnerships begin with open, respectful communication. Families are responsible for reviewing Playground messages, announcements, schedules, newsletters, and event reminders regularly. Please keep your contact information current and communicate changes in your child’s health, routine, authorized pickup list, or family circumstances that may affect the school day.
Attendance and Punctuality
Consistent attendance and on-time arrival help children feel secure, participate fully in classroom routines, and benefit from the day’s planned learning experiences. Families should follow classroom arrival and departure procedures, notify the school about absences or schedule changes, and pick children up before the campus closes.
Health and Safety
Families help protect the entire KinderKids community by following illness and exclusion policies, providing current immunization and health records, reporting contagious conditions promptly, and keeping emergency contacts up to date. Children should arrive ready to participate safely in the day’s activities.
Support Learning
Learning is strongest when home and school work together. Families can support development by reading together, talking about the school day, encouraging age-appropriate independence, and reinforcing classroom routines and positive social-emotional skills at home. Teachers may also share ideas or observations that help families extend learning beyond the classroom.
Financial Responsibility
Families are responsible for understanding their tuition obligations, making payments by the required deadlines, maintaining current account information, and communicating promptly with the school about tuition assistance or account concerns. Families using a subsidy or employer-sponsored benefit must provide current authorization documents and remain responsible for any portion not covered by the funding program.
