About Our Preschool Program
Our Preschool Program helps children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills they need for kindergarten and beyond. Through a thoughtful balance of teacher-led instruction and child-led exploration, students strengthen early literacy, pre-writing, math, science, creativity, problem-solving, and independence. Frog Street and hands-on STEAM experiences turn natural curiosity into meaningful learning while a strong classroom community helps every child feel confident, capable, and prepared.

How We Teach in Our Preschool Program
- Frog Street provides a research-based framework for literacy, math, science, and social-emotional learning.
- Whole-group and small-group experiences allow teachers to introduce concepts and provide focused support.
- Learning centers give children opportunities to explore, practice skills, make choices, and collaborate.
- STEAM investigations encourage creativity, critical thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving.
- Stories, conversations, songs, and pre-writing activities strengthen communication and early literacy.
- Daily routines help children build independence, responsibility, and confidence in a classroom setting.
A Day in Our Preschool Program
Preschoolers begin with a warm arrival and opportunities to connect with teachers and classmates. Morning learning includes group meetings, Frog Street lessons, literacy, early math, science, and hands-on classroom centers. Children participate in creative expression, STEAM investigations, movement, and outdoor play while practicing cooperation and independence. After lunch, children have a scheduled rest period followed by afternoon learning, enrichment, small-group activities, and purposeful play. Teachers close the day by helping children reflect, gather their belongings, and prepare for pickup.
