About Our Infant Program
A loving, nurturing start lays the foundation for everything that follows. Our Infant Program provides children ages 6 weeks to 12 months with a safe, stimulating environment where they can build trusting relationships, explore through their senses, and develop at their own pace. Our trained caregivers follow each child’s individual routine while introducing developmentally appropriate experiences such as tummy time, sensory play, music, early literacy, and sign language.
- Individualized feeding, sleeping, and care routines
- Nurturing relationships with trained infant caregivers
- Tummy time, sensory play, music, literacy, and sign language
- Safe spaces designed for supervised movement and exploration
- Daily updates and direct communication through Playground

How We Teach in Our Infants Program
- We use Frog Street's research-based infant curriculum to support early development through responsive, relationship-based care.
- Teachers introduce songs, stories, music, and conversation to build early language and listening skills.
- Supervised tummy time and floor play help strengthen developing muscles and motor skills.
- Sensory experiences encourage infants to explore textures, sounds, colors, and movement.
- Simple sign language supports early communication before children can express themselves verbally.
- Activities are adapted to each infant's developmental stage, interests, and individual care routine.
A Day in Our Infants Program
Each infant's day is thoughtfully shaped around their individual feeding, sleeping, and care routine. From the moment your baby arrives, our caregivers provide warm, responsive attention that helps them feel safe and secure. Throughout the day, infants enjoy developmentally appropriate experiences such as tummy time, sensory exploration, stories, music, sign language, and supervised floor play. Feedings, naps, and diaper changes are provided according to each child's needs, with plenty of nurturing interaction woven into every routine. Before pickup, families receive updates through Playground so they can feel connected to their baby's care, activities, and special moments throughout the day.

Food
Infant feeding follows each child’s individual schedule and written family instructions. As children become developmentally ready, age-appropriate meals may include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack prepared in accordance with CACFP and USDA meal-pattern guidelines. Families and teachers work together to communicate feeding needs, allergies, and developmental transitions.
Diapering and Potty Training
Infants receive attentive diapering care throughout the day and whenever needed. Diaper changes are documented and shared with families through Playground. Potty training is not part of the Infant Program and is introduced in a later classroom based on each child’s developmental readiness.
Screen Time
Screen time is not part of the daily Infant Program curriculum. Babies learn through responsive relationships, movement, sensory exploration, music, books, and hands-on interaction with their environment.
